Alexander H. Sheppe, MD, FAPA, DFAACAP

Aliza Spruch-Feiner, PhD

A practice built around clinical formulation.
The Sheppe Group was built for patients and families whose concerns do not fit neatly into a single label. A person may arrive with mood or anxiety symptoms, OCD, ADHD, trauma, personality concerns, emotional dysregulation, relationship difficulties, school avoidance, behavioral escalation, disruptive mood patterns, or family strain and still need a more complete explanation of what is happening.
The practice model is formulation-first. Care begins by clarifying symptoms, prior treatment, development, personality functioning, identity, relationships, family systems, risk, strengths, medication history, and the patient’s current stage of life within one coherent clinical picture.
More thana diagnosis.
Assessment looks at symptoms, history, relationships, development, risk, strengths, and functioning together.
Clinical contextCare thatfits the person.
The goal is to understand the pattern clearly enough to recommend a treatment direction that fits the clinical picture.
